If I see one more movie with that, by now, tired, old cliché of "Oh, damn, I don't have any cell coverage out here" I'm gonna scream.

Seriously.

I mean, this is why they make satellite phones, right?

This is why I liked horror movies made in the 70's. No cell phones invented yet.

I KNOW! They only had to worry about whether there was a phone or not. A cut land line is a hell of a lot more feasible than a lack of cell phone coverage nowadays. Hell, showing the land line being cut was a staple.
